It all began my senior year in college while traveling through South America.  Climbing waterfalls, swatting mosquitos in the amazon forest, getting lost in treacherous caves, catching altitude sickness on top of volcanos, waking up in horror surrounded by thousands of sand crabs on the beach all while toting my camera in hand.  What started was a growing love for documenting life.

After seeing and photographing some of the worlds most remote and majestic places, I came back and continued my passion for photography in the streets of NYC.  But, as time passed and life’s responsibilities took over, photography took a back seat.  I yearned to photograph again, to feel the holistic pulse that I get when I clicked the shutter of my camera.  And then she came into my life.  My beautiful angel, my daughter, Laila Skye.

It was her first smile, her first tooth, her first step that reinvigorated my artistic spirit to document life again, our life.

I understand the importance of capturing tender, joyful and beautiful moments.  I am inspired by love and photography.  As a wedding and lifestyle photographer, I would love to capture your beautiful moments.
